Charul Kaushik is a seasoned development sector professional with over a decade of experience in the gender space, specializing in the design, review, and delivery of rights-based, feminist, and gender-transformative curricula.
She has worked extensively on thematic areas such as Gender Equality, EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion), Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), and Positive Masculinities, ensuring content is contextually relevant and grounded in intersectionality. Her program design approach prioritizes participatory learning and inclusive pedagogy, particularly for marginalized women, youth, persons with disabilities, and low-literacy communities.
Skilled in qualitative research methods, Charul uses focus group discussions, key informant interviews, and participatory tools to inform and refine program content. She has partnered with INGOs, local NGOs, and multilateral agencies across Asia and Africa.
Her ability to combine technical expertise with empathy and strategic insight makes her a trusted partner in creating impactful gender-focused programs. She has worked with diverse stakeholders on developing safeguarding and systems strengthening knowledge products. She has worked on adolescent and young people's issues and has developed several national toolkits and youth curriculum design initiatives with different organisations and institutions, and implemented large-scale interventions.
